The way it works is very
simple. EasyFundraising have linked up with hundreds of
on-line retailers - including some well know ones such as
Amazon, Next, Debenhams, John Lewis, Boots, M&S etc etc.
There are DIY retailers, insurance, motoring, mobile phones,
electrical and sports equipment stores. And you can even
make business purchases through DELL, PC World Business,
Apple, Staples, Viking or Euroffice.
When you want to buy
something, go to the EasyFundraising site and click on
Register now. This will enable you to select 7th Lichfield
Scout group as the cause you support. Then you simply have
to click on the link to the retailer of your choice. It
will take you to the retailers own website and you can make
your purchase as normal.
What happens - behind the
scenes - is that the retailer passes a donation (which is a
percentage of your order) back to EasyFundraising who then
put it into our account. The donation can be up to 15% but
is typically in the order of 2-5%. This doesn't cost you
anything.
So put the EasyFundraising
website into your links or favourites and help us raise
money to support the activities we organise for your kids.
